Garden Cottage was a lovely place to spend a few days to relax before Christmas. the cottage itself was well equipped, clean and modern. The beds were super comfy! We really enjoyed using the pool and the games room, the jukebox was great! My 4 year old has already said she would like to come back.

Beautiful location. Far better than what we expected. The facilities are outstanding. From the well stocked kitchen. To the pool and deluxe games room, fire pit and the fact you can collect your own eggs for breakfast from the chicken hutch. Very peaceful and relaxing. Paul was super helpful and it’s just lovely to visit somewhere where it feels there’s not really any rules you need to confirm to. Except have a nice time.

Paul and Jan’s property was the favourite place we stayed in on our tour of Cornwall and Devon. It was as described and we clearly saved the best for last. Great hosts, great amenities. We loved Lola too (the dog). The pool was a lovely touch and it’s so nice to be able to hop out the back door and straight into the water. We will definitely be back! The cream tea on arrival was also a lovely touch. Thank you for an amazing stay.

It was our first time at Lower Elsford and we were blown away with the level of detail and thought that was put in to all aspects of the cottage and shared facilities. The location was picturesque and so many lovely walks from your doorstep. The pool was a godsend and our 18m old grew with confidence in the water over the time we were there. A great location to go on day trips. It really was a perfect holiday! And we will be back in 2024!

We loved our stay at Pond View. The whole site is stunning and Paul & Jan are wonderful hosts. Becky falls was brilliant & great for a rainy day. The miniature Pony Centre was a great day out with lots of opportunities for children to get involved with the animals.

Another lovely week spent at ‘Garden Cottage’. This was our second time and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. We made full use of the facilities – especially the games room and table tennis. We had lovely days out locally at the reservoir, Becky Falls and Parke. Highlights of our week were Castle Drogo and a superb meal at ‘Rockfish’ overlooking Brixham harbour. Thanks again.

Thank you Paul & Jan. Some very careful thought has gone into making this a very special place for your visitors. You have thought of everything. Our favorite place in the cottage is the little landing between the bedrooms. Light, peaceful, restful and cosy.

Fabulous cottage with all the facilities you could ask for and more. Coupled with the warm welcome given by Paul & Jan (especially the lovely Devon cream tea), it is pretty much perfect.

Absolutely fantastic stay in the garden Cottage. Paul & Jan have thought of everything and our 6 year old has loved it. We had a great trip to Kent Caverns and up Haytor, and many an hour spent swimming and in the games room. We’ll be back for sure.

Our second trip to Lower Elsford and our first stay in Pond View. We’ve had a really wonderful time and will be back! Martha and Eliza will miss our daily trips to the pool!
